It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Edward Nelson of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Nelson (Gorman); his sons, Russ (Elaine), Glenn (Alice) and Dan (Pearl); and his grandchildren, Julia, Christine, Mitchell and Meredith. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
