He was predeceased by: his parents, Quintus Green and May Bell Johnson Milner; his siblings, Raleigh Milner, Laura Tomberlin, Ruth Abercrombie, Ester Milner, Ben Milner, Magdaline Grantham and Rachel Howell; and his son-in-law Gerald Paraday, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Greenamyre Milner; his sons, Lester Milner and Wesley Milner (Jeri); his granddaughters, Brandy and Rena; his son Richard Milner (Terri); his grandchildren, Shannon and Haley; his daughter Ellen Paraday; his grandsons, Gerald Jr. and Christopher; his sibling's children, Frances Bailey (Owen), Roy Tomberlin (Joy) and Buck Tomberlin (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Leanne Dorathy, Dwaine Greenamyre and Rodney Greenamyre; and his close friend J. R. Kelly (Carmelita). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
