We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2020, at the age of 89, Al Sutton of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Al Sutton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice Newsome and McKinley Sutton. He is survived by : his wife Grace Casper Sutton of Kinston; his children, Sonya Nowak (John) of Charlotte, Jennifer Blackmon (Doug) of Kinston and Al Sutton, Jr. (Patrice) of Cary; his grandchildren, James Sutton (Jim) of Denver, CO, Sarah S. Illes (Gabe) of Mebane, Megan Sutton of Cary, Chris Nowak of Charlotte, Lindsay Nowak of Charlotte, Ashton Blackmon (Shelby) of Atlantic Beach and Memoree Blackmon of Raleigh; his great grandchild Gabriel John Illes IV; and his half-sister Ruth Hall of Bluff City, TN..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church 2600 Rouse Rd. Kinston, NC 28504.
