He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Hatfield and Beulah Mae McCoy Hatfield; and his brother William Harvey Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Danielle Nicole Hatfield; his children, Amy Addair Mitchell (Adam) and Joseph Kian Chase Hatfield (Sarah); his stepdaughter Zoe Makenna Braswell; his grandchildren, Paiten McKenzie Mitchell, Taylor Paige Pysell and Joseph Cole Hatfield; his great grandchild Hudson Nash Mitchell; his sister Elizabeth Ann Gresak (Martin); and his nephews, Kyle Martin Gresak, Colby Andrew Gresak and Carson Bradley Gresak.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Living Hope Church (1890 Connelly Springs Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
