It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Joyce Sullivan (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Adams and Betty Baldwin Adams; and her sisters, Sylvia Gentry, Jennie Clark and Ruby McFaden.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael E. Sullivan (Carol) of Rutherfordton, NC and Robert E. Sullivan (Gao) of Granite Falls, NC; her brother Fred Adams of Wilkesboro, NC.; Brittany Dinola of Charlotte, NC, Taylor Sullivan Fender of Spindale, NC, Christian Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC, Faith Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC, Grace Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC., Finley Dinola and William Dinola of Charlotte, NC..
