We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023, at the age of 93, Betty Jean Lewis of Level Cross, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Toomes and Hallie Lamb. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her son Arlin "Pete"; her siblings, Blease "Hammer" Toomes, Rev Bernard "Bun", Louise Rayle and Claudia Vestal; her granddaughter Wendy Lewis Gilchrist; her grandson-in-law Joel; and her great grandchildren, Sarah and Emily. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
