It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marylyn Wright of Lewisville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 84, on May 12, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Osborne Glenn and Eunice Rogers Wood; her husband Gary Wright; her son Joe Hawkins, Jr.; and her brothers, Roger Wayne and James Edwin Wood.

She is survived by : her brother Glenn Wood (Pat); her children, Tonya Lanier (Bobby) and Jonathan Hawkins, Sr. (Christine); her grandchildren, Jennifer McCabe (Adam), Makayla Grant (Keith) and Jonathan Hawkins, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Hayden and Kara McCabe; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Wood and Barbara Peeples. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several very good friends.
