He is survived by : his father Herminio Velasco Vargas; his children, Eduardo Velazco of Lexington, David Velazco of Lexington, Emmanuel Velazco of Lexington, Isaac Velazco of Lexington, Yasmin Velazco Martinez (Rafael Velasquez) of Lexington, Genesis Velazco Martinez of Lexington and Vanessa Velazco Martinez of Lexington; his siblings, Antonio Merida Velazco (Anita Velazco) of Candor, Aurelio Velazco (Guillermina Hernandez) of Lexington, Constantino Velazco (Cirila Velazco) of Candor, Anando Velazco of Candor, Perfeeto Velazco of Lexington, Lidia Velazco (Javier Castillo) of Lexington, Paulina Velazco of Troy, Bernardina Velazco of Candor and Elena Velazco of Mexico; his niece Beatrice Velazco of Lexington; and his great-nieces, Erica and Danielle Bravo.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lexington City Cemetery.
