With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Gail Jones Copley of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jennings Jones and Jenna Mae Hopkins Kirk; and her siblings, Shirley McGee and Bobby Ray Jones. She is survived by: her son Herbert Woodard (Ja'net) of Lexington; her brothers, Ricky Jones (Sharon) and Roger Jones (Shelia); and her grandchildren, Breanna Woodard and Tristan King.

We talked by phone through the years & she always spoke of Christ & His will to be done in her life & in her family's lives. The visit I had with her just weeks before her passing was precious to both of us. Brenda was a light. Acceptance, & love describes her rare nature. Brenda was a prayerful, kind, & soft-spoken soul. She walks with the KING now, welcomed by hosts of angels & her family on the other side.”
