We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2020, at the age of 83, Ernest Lanning of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Alexander Lanning and Lillian Kluttz Lanning; his daughter Marty Munger; and his brother Walter Lawrence Lanning. He is survived by : his wife Joanne Tysinger Lanning; his daughters, Lisa Johnson (Skip) and Debbie McDaniel (Ronnie); and his brother Melvin Lanning (Donna) of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
