He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus McKinney and Naomi Moore Cable; and his wife Norma Jean Leonard Cable. He is survived by : his children, Garray Roland Cable of Lexington and Melren Elizabeth Cable of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his sisters, Carolyn Johnson (Ed) of Farmington and Ruth McSwain of Cooleemee.
