She was predeceased by: her parents, Levy William Beckwith and Bessie Roberts Beckwith; her husband Joseph "Joe" Owen Truelove; her son Michael Owen Truelove; and her siblings, Edna Walker, Lynda Beckwith Slaughter and Odell Beckwith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen "Kay" Truelove Whitener (Dale) of Trinity and Leigh Ellen Truelove (Todd Yates) of Lexington; and her siblings, Patsy B. Rowland of Fuquay-Varina, Peggy B. Johnson of Garner and William "Bob" Beckwith of Sumter.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Hinkle Hospice Home at 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
