He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Louise Snead Laine; his son James C. Laine; and his grandson Richard Thomas Skipper. He is survived by: his children, Terry L. Laine of Lexington and Rose M. Skipper (Buddy) of Trinity. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
