She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Yarbrough and Veatrul Smith Yarbrough. She is survived by: her husband Paul Kenneth Shillinglaw; her sons, Thomas Shillinglaw (Pam), Christopher Shillinglaw (James) and Craig Shillinglaw (Elizabeth); her siblings, Thomas, Rusty Yarbrough, Peggy Hawkins and Kaye Hamilton; her grandchildren, Jessea Snyder (Chris), Jedadiah Shillinglaw, Ashley Shillinglaw (Douglas), Jonathan Shillinglaw, Brianna Nifong (Nathan) and Danielle Shillinglaw; and her great grandchildren, Kellan, Charlotte and Alayna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church, PO Box 1386, Lexington, NC 27293, in honor of Jimmie.

“Jimmie and I knew each other for 57 years and found each other in Charleston SC. She and Kenneth went back to Lexington and I went to Indiana. We reconnect on Facebook and Jimmie and Kenneth drove down once when we were on vacation to Isle of Palms SC. That was so sweet! I will miss her.......RIP my dear friend”
