He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Ruth Parms and Johnny Parms, Jr.; and his brother James Leroy Parms. He is survived by: his wife Elder LeWanda Parms; his children, Carter Evans, RoShanda Cuthrell of Winston-Salem, NC, Systeria Cole (Jenay Cole) of Winston-Salem, NC and LaShanda Parms of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Deacon William David Parms (Elder Angela Parms), Agnes Betts of Winston-Salem, NC, Annette M. Parms of Winston-Salem, NC, Patricia Skinner (Ronnie Skinner) of Colfax, NC, Sabre P. Caldwell (Anthony Caldwell) and Cynthia Gilchrist (Christoher Gilchrist) of Winston-Salem, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
