He was predeceased by: his father Robert Honeycutt; his sisters, Brenda Madewell and Carol Ann; his grandson John Canady; and his pets, Hulkster and Rocky.
He is survived by: his mother Illa Cranshaw Honeycutt; his wife Alice Vance Honeycutt; his children, Christopher, John Canady (Melissa) of Denton, Cindy Dockery of Arkansas, Amanda Canady (Jo) of Lexington and Tammy Hayes (Shane) of Arizona; his brother Billy Honeycutt (Martha) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Daniel (Payton), Matthew, Taylor, Little Leroy, Kyle, Haven, Jack, Sage, Jaylynn, Christopher, Nicholas, Kelsey, Linda and Craig; his close friends, Bryan, Tommy, Jay, Scott and Steve; and his pet Spot.
