She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Lawrence Garren and Maude Almond Garren; and her siblings, Kenneth Garren, Freida Garren and Evelyn Wade.
She is survived by: her husband David Pierce Truitt Jr.; her daughters, Reina Moseley and Stacy Dembitsky (Michael); and her sisters, Jennie Stanford and Bonnie Stokes (Rayborn). She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
