He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cheek and Nannie York Cheek. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Staley (Mitchell), Linda Collins (Jimmy), Vanda Reitzel, Robert Cheek and Charles "Buck" Cheek (Julie); his grandchildren, Brittany Donaldson, Andrew Cheek, Laura Parks (Josh), Justin Cheek, Jackson Kime, Morgan Horn (Cody), Tonya Swink (Adam), Haylee Guthrie (John), Julie Reitzel, Chayne Staley (Megan), Jeff Forehand (Alma) and Drew Forehand (Kelly); and his siblings, Frances Matthews, Betty Jo Lackey, Margie Brooks and Larry Cheek (Shirley). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
