With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lou Gertie Caviness Barbre (Liberty, North Carolina), who passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jackson and Susie Geneva Wall Caviness; her husband Billy Frank Barbre; and her brothers, J. E. Caviness, Clarence Caviness and Everette Caviness.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Barbre Elmore (Richard) and Sharon Barbre Fogleman (Tony); her grandchildren, Lisa Spengler, April York and Jonathan Elmore; her great grandchildren, Justin Norris, Summer York, Jaylen Gales and Parris Patterson; her great great grandchild Cristiano Urbina; and her siblings, Elsie Kime (Rex), Carol Brewer, Vivian Brewer, Verlie Caviness, Junior Caviness (Ann) and James Caviness (Dolly).
