Nixon (Denise), Jason Levi Powers (Crystal), Jacklyn Smith Ellis (Thomas), David Willard Powers (Roxanne), Victoria Grace Smith and Caleigh Diane Smith; his great grandchildren, Eli Wyatt Powers, Kelli Adele Powers, Gene Asher Powers, Taisley Grace Ellis and Brandon Duncan; his siblings, Roger Dale Smith (Bonnie), Ernest Prather "Pete" Smith (Denise) and Linda Smith Jenkins (Bill); his close friend Brenda Staley; the mother of his children Betsy Edwards; and his pet Red.
