He is survived by: his children, Gaye Black Howard (Tom) of Lincolnton, Deborah Black Senter (David) of Raleigh, Teresa Black Edwards (Tommy) of Marion and Greg Black (Tammy) of Smithfield; his siblings, Joyce Ann Ballard of Lillington and Leroy Black (Linda) of Raeford; and his sister-in-law Ernestine Black of Sanford. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren on the way, and many dear, dear friends.
