She is survived by : her children, John Wesley Walker (Candace) of Crouse and Krista Walker Dilling (Mark) of Dallas; her brother Rodney Turner (Margaret Ann) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Jonathan Walker, Victoria Dilling and Matthew Dilling; her stepgrandsons, Landon Darty and Hunter Powell; and her pet Snuggles.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Wesleyan Church of Bessemer City (510 E Alabama Ave, Bessemer City, NC 28016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
