He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Peeler and Zola Carter Peeler; his wife Serita "Diane" Tate Peeler; and his siblings, Harry Lee Peeler, Lewis Peeler, Earl Peeler, Elizabeth Auton and Joyce "Pat" Sain.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Peeler of Crouse, NC, Jeremy Peeler (Ashley) of Casar, NC, Karen Taylor (Tim) of Lincolnton, NC, Wanda Seagle (Daniel) of Vale, NC and Pamela Sigmon (Kevin) of Cherryville, NC; his grandchildren, Christopher Taylor, Nathan Taylor (Julie), Jesse Peeler (Elizabeth), Abigail Peeler, Zola Sigmon, Joshua Seagle (Brooke), Sadie Huitt (Gabe), Lathan Peeler and Dessie Peeler; his great grandchildren, Iris Perry, River Seagle and Cyrus Huitt; and his siblings, Ronnie Peeler of Iron Station and Clara Abernethy of Cherryville.
A reception will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
