She is survived by : her husband Donald Lee Richard; her son Keith Richard of Iron Station; her brother Kermit Perkins of Lincoln County; her grandchildren, Alin Richard and Nicoleta Richard; and her great grandchild Reuven Richard.

“Shirley's passing was a shock. When last we spoke in April, she spoke of how well she felt. Our conversations always included how good Donald and her son. Keith were to her....giving the latest on the remodeling projects they were doing. And how proud she was of her grandson Alin & wife Nicoleta. And her beautiful great-grandchild Reuven.
