He is survived by : his wife Maggie Brinkley; his children, Anjoylus Brinkley III of Henderson, NC, Manesha and Shaunjoyla Brinkley; his siblings, David Brinkley (Shelia) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Ruby Jean Brinkley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Jones (Johnnie) of Brodnax, VA, Ann Miller of Clarksville, VA and James Miller (Phyllis) of Henrico, NC; his aunts and uncles, Elaine Carter of Petersburg, VA, Bernadine Brown of Richmond, VA, Helena Satterfield of LaCrosse, VA, Thelma Jones (James) of Brodnax, VA, Wanda Brown of Richmond, VA, Bettie Jones of LaCrosse, VA, Jerry Brown of Richmond, VA, Ronnie Sykes of LaCrosse, VA and Alvin Sykes (Jessie) of Columbus, SC; and his close friend Carl Garner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
