With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bennie Lewis Reavis Jr. of Littleton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bennie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bennie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Matthews Reavis. He is survived by: his children, Ben Reavis III (Carol) of Warrenton and Katherine Johnson of Creedmoor; his sister Nell Reavis Hicks of Warrenton; his nephew Mel Hicks, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Martha Hall, Matthew Hall, Chelsi Manning and Bruce Watts, Jr.. He is also survived by his 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery (Warrenton, NC 27589).
The family asks that anyone wishing to make a memorial donation that they will consider a donation to Providence Methodist Church.
