We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2021, at the age of 91, Izear Peter Brown (Littleton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Junious Brown and Stella Mae Davis Brown; and his siblings, Johnie, Wilbert, Junious Brown and Letha Bell Brown Aldridge.

He is survived by : his former life partner Joyce Brown; his son Alan Maurice Brown; his wife Catherine; his stepsons, Robert Lee Rainey of Kansas City and James Ivey Rainey (Wanda) of Durham, NC; his adoptive son Reddick Patrick, Sr. (Subena) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepdaughter Janice W. Fleming (Terry) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Alan, Jr., Deandre, Brian, Brianna Brown, Damien, Courtney (Sean Palmer), Jamond Rainey, Robert, Jr., DeSean Willrich (Courtney), Ashely Harris (James), Alexandra of Washington, Rainah Fleming, Kimberly P. Johnson (Shavar), Queen Victoria Webster, Princess Ebony Webster and Reddick Patrick, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Mihijana, Keygan Rainey, Robert III, Cash, X'avier Parker, Nasiyah, Artist and Jarrett Harris; his sisters-in-law, Louise Brown of Baltimore, MD and Dozine Banks of Brooklyn, NY; and his close friend William "Bill" Eaton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Because of Covid-19, all CDC guidelines will be followed by the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance.
