It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Dry III of Locust, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson Dry, Jr. and Roxie Lee Almond Dry; and his wife Judy Helms Dry. He is survived by: his children, George Dry, IV of Locust, Renda McGirt (Tim) of Mt. Pleasant and Rena Dry of Albemarle; his granddaughters, Amanda Lyerly and DeAnna Taylor; his great grandchildren, Clinton Lyerly, Klarissa Lyerly, Lynden Duffy and Abigail Kosinski; and his siblings, Glenn Dry (Betty) and JoAnn Hatley.
