With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Elizabeth Barbee Yow (Locust, North Carolina), born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2019 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Barbee and Allease Krimminger Barbee; and her husband Doyce "Whitey" Yow. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Beneika Bolen (Henry) of Albemarle, Crystal Yow of Marshville and Cathy Thomas of Concord; and her brother Ray Stanley Barbee of Indian Trail. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
