She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Lee Whitley and Bessie Beatrice Efird Whitley; her husband Daniel B. Tate; her son Billy Williams; her sister-in-law Mary Whitley; and her grandson Cory Eudy.
She is survived by: her children, Tanika Williams Snyder, Les Tate (Kimberly), Greg Tate, James Williams and Robby Williams; her brothers, Wilbern Whitley and Darrell Whitley; her daughter-in-law Patty Williams; her grandchildren, Dustin, Michael Williams, Breanna Tate and Jamie Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Blair, Blake Williams, Oliver, Parker Phelps, Gracie, Holden and Chandler Eudy.
