Dianne Holder Obituary
Dianne was the third daughter of Dick and JoAnn Proctor, the sister of Sharon Pearce, Carolyn Denton, and Barbara Williams. She was the wife of James Holder for over 50 years. She was the mother of Katherine Holder and Kimberly Holder and the grandmother of James and Lettie Star.
Dianne was a dedicated wife. She cared for James for many years as he fought a disabling lung disease. After James passed away she cared for her grandchildren which she adored. All this being said, Dianne was a caregiver. She was o homemaker who loved her family. Dianne lived a simple life. She loved animals and talked about her dog Pee Wee a lot in her final days.
As her health declined, her only request was for ice cream, milkshakes, and banana pudding, which she had every day. She had her final milkshake only minutes prior to her passing, so we know she left us with a sweet taste on her lips.
We would like to thank the staff of Perry Creek Rehab for their special care and concern for Dianne. We have made such good friends with the staff there. They have been a blessing to our family.
A celebration of Dianne's life will be held at 11:00am on Monday , November 10, 2025 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549 with the Dr. Ron Wallace officiating. The family requests you to dress casually if attending the service.
