She was predeceased by : her husband Carlyle Ferrell; her former life partner Edwin "Eddie" Price; her children, Tommie Ferrell, Carla Ferrell and Sherri Ferrell; her granddaughter Michelle Jenkins; and her parents, Grover Williamson and Susie Williamson.
She is survived by : her children, Sandra Ferrell Webb (Ray) of Louisburg and Hunter Ferrell (Martha) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Hillary Jackson of Wilmington, Haley Chambers (Dave) of Wilson, Shane Poythress of Wilson, Devin Ferrell of Louisville, Dustin Ferrell (Amber) of Louisville, Ryan Ferrell of Denver, Colorado, Savannah Ferrell (Shane Sullivan) of Louisville, Kentucky and Taylor Moose (Sara Yaglowski) of Elizabeth City; and her daughters, Renee Moore and Susan Bullock. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
