Felicia Dawn Allen Smith Obituary

Felicia Dawn Allen Smith, age 45, of Buchanan County, Grundy, Virginia, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at her home.

Felicia was born on October 23, 1979, in Durham, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Joyce Banks Allen and her surviving father, Terry Allen of North Carolina.

Felicia was a great artist and a very creative person. She loved doing crafts, and her favorite color was green. She loved planting flowers, the great outdoors, wildlife, caring for her fish, and her numerous fish tanks.

Felicia was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Banks Allen.

Those left to cherish her loving memory include one daughter, Madison Jai Smith of Abingdon, Virginia; one son, Tyler Wayne Tharrington of Taylor, Michigan; father, Terry Allen and stepmother, Debra Allen of North Carolina; sister, Angela Kimball and husband Edward "Kim" of Taylor, Michigan; brother, Terry Allen Jr. of Taylor, Michigan; nephew, Jacob Allen Kimball of Taylor, Michigan, companion, Craig Ball of Grundy, Virginia; special friend, Carla Ball of Grundy, Virginia; stepbrother, Bronson Murphy of North Carolina; stepsister, Anna Murphy of North, Carolina; and cousin, Nikki Banks of North Carolina. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family member, and a host of friends.

In accordance with Felicia's wishes, her body will be cremated.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 5:00pm at Louisburg Baptist Church, 302 N. Main St. Louisburg, NC 27549.
