Myrna Deanne Blachly Obituary

Myrna Hastings-Blachly passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She, was 89 years old. Born in Kalispell, Montana, Myrna graduated from Flathead High School, where she formed cherished lifelong, friendships. Known affectionately as one of "The Three M's"—Myrna, Marilyn (Wilken), and Marjean, (Wilken)—she remained close with her Kalispell girlfriends throughout her life. She married her high school sweetheart, Howard Blachly, and together they created a full and vibrant life. Myrna worked many jobs over the years, but her most memorable time was as a poolside bartender during, the day and cocktail waitress at night at The Causeway Inn, where her charm and energy lit up every room. In, 1970, when Howard opened a yacht brokerage in Miami, Myrna retired to raise their four children and enjoy, the Florida sunshine. She played tennis, loved to travel, and frequently returned to Kalispell to spend time, with her "luncheon lady" friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Blachly. She is survived by her children: Brian Blachly of Youngsville, NC; Danna Bower (and husband Scott) of Wake Forest, NC; Lori Blachly of FL, and Brent Kendell of Las Vegas, NV. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. Myrna will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her devotion to family and friends, and the warmth and, laughter she brought wherever she went. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
