She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Riddick and Easter Mae Hagwood; her husband Benjamin Carroll; her daughter Lisa Ann Aycock; and her siblings, Charles Hagwood, Geraldine Morris, Patsy Creech, Barbara H. Carlyle and Mildred Whitley.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Melissa B. Rogers (George) and Benjamin Aycock (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Natalie Aycock, Dylan Rogers and Madelyn Blake; and her brother Tommy Hagwood. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
