Richard William Farrell Obituary

Mr. Richard William Farrell, 67, of Louisburg, NC died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Wakefield-Med North. He was born February 27, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late, Robert J. Farrell and Rita Eline Farrell. Rick attended North Carolina State University where he became a lifelong Wolfpack fan. Being a diehard Deadhead, for many years Rick would schedule his vacations to follow, the Grateful Dead on tour. Rick retired from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals after thirty years of service. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Carol A. Allison; five siblings, Robert J. Farrell, Jr. (Eileen), of Sunset Beach, NC, Thomas H. Farrell (Mary) of Merrimack, NH, Megan Farrell Furr of Charlotte, NC, James E. Farrell (Cindy) of Alpharetta, GA and Moira Farrell Jacobs (Dwight) of Waxhaw, NC. Rick is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and thirteen great-nieces and, great-nephews and his step-grandson, Joshua Allison. Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services is trusted with arrangements. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
