We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2021, at the age of 74, Gail Edwards Hamm of Lucama, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joyce Sullivan and Luther Edwards; her stepparents, Elwood Raper and Carolyn Edwards; and her sister Tracy Raper.

She is survived by : her husband James Hamm; her son Richard Lucas of Lucama; her grandchildren, Casey Lucas of Lucama and Joshua Lucas of Benson; her siblings, Diane Raper Roberson (late Shorty) of Lucama, Pam Raper Hawley (David) of Lucama, Eddie Edwards (Janet) of Morehead City and Taffie Edwards Grady (late Scott) of Morehead City; her aunt Ruby Davis (Dale) of Morehead City; and her cousin Willie Guthrie of Morehead City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.
