He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carolyn Northcutt Rowe; his daughters, Deborah Long (Jeff) and Gloria Whitehurst (Charlie) of Lucama; his grandchildren, Abby Pollard (Justin) of Fremont, Aaron Long (Kristal) of Wilson, Trey Ricketts (Jessica) of Stantonsburg, Anna Long and Kathleen Long (Kowaski Martin) of Raleigh; his great grandchildren, Preston Ricketts and Wyatt Pollard; and his pet Chip.
