It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Martin Pittman (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hamer Pittman and Dessie Mae Bennett Pittman; and his wife Rebecca Lee Dawson Pittman. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Pittman (Linda) of Lumberton, Jonathan Pittman (Renee) of Lumberton, James Pittman (Anita) of Lumberton and Alfreda Bostick of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Jeremy Bostick, Terry Bostick, Heather Pittman, Timothy Pittman, Taylor Jackson, Joshua Pittman, Isaac Pittman, Troy Pittman and Jesse Pittman; and his siblings, Murray Pittman of Lumberton, Jerry Pittman of Holden Beach, Kenny Pittman of Lumberton, Louise Britt of Lumberton and Margaret Stephens of Lumberton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
