She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Maynor and Emmie Revels Cummings. She is survived by: her son Troy Cummings; her stepdaughters, Delorse Cummings and Sherri C. Locklear; her children, David Cummings, Gabriel Cummings (Kayla Harvey) of Lumberton, Annette Jones (Matthew Jones) of Lumberton and Gwendolyn Locklear (Larry Chavis) of Lumberton; her stepsons, Dewayne L. Cummings of Red Springs and Carl Oxendine of Spartanburg; and her siblings, Roy Maynor of Marana Arizona, Christine Brayboy of Pembroke and Shelby Chavis of Pembroke. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
