It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Simmons of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her brothers, James Brown, Bobby Ray Brown, Lee Grant and Kenneth Brown; her former husband Raymond Simmons; her children, Kelvin Brown and Temea Simmons-Collins (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Ciera Stewart, Asya Brown, Jordan Brown, Alaya Collins, Kelvin Brown, Kamerin Collins, Kayla Collins, Tylek Brown and Joshua Brown. She is also survived by other family members and close friends.
