He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Viola De La Cruz; his wife Angelica De La Cruz; his children, Bernabé De La Cruz, Jr. (Lori, Dallia De), Amelia De La Cruz, Rosita De La Cruz, Samuel De La Cruz and Daniel De La Cruz (Brittany); his son-in-law Mark Smith (Jennifer); his granddaughter Teresina; and his great grandchild Xavian. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
