She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oxendine and Iula Hunt; her husband Willie Rufus Bell; her children, Willie Rufus Bell, Jr. (Teresa) of Lumberton, NC, Gladys Fields and Marlene Locklear; her siblings, Edward Hunt, Clinton Oxendine, Jerry Oxendine, Grace Oxendine and Alphosene Lester; and her grandson Kent Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Orlando Bell (Wanda) of Lumberton, NC and Darlene Bell Hunt (Roger) of Lumberton, NC; and her siblings, Grady Oxendine of Lumberton, NC, Bobby Oxendine of Lumberton, NC, Willie "Buddy" Oxendine of Virginia, Sheila Frederick of Lumberton, NC, Helen Locklear of Florence, SC, Josephine Todd of Maryland and Carol Jean Green of Virginia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
