It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Halliburton (Lumberton, North Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Lee Coleman and Eva Griffin Coleman; her husband Rev. James C. Halliburton; her son Jerry Halliburton; and her grandson Jimmy Halliburton.
She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Stephens (E. K.) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Heather S. Hensley (Daniel), Matthew Stephens (Lisa) and Amber Halliburton; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Hope, Emma, Mattie and Gracelyn; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Halliburton (Kay) of Florence, SC and Geraldine W. Halliburton of Lumberton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rev. James C. Halliburton Scholarship Fund.
