He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Scott and Georgie Shockley Scott. He is survived by: his wife Frances Lewis Scott; his children, Lisa Pittman of Virginia and Jeff Scott (Debbi) of Pembroke; his brother Karl Scott (Cindy) of Eden; his grandsons, Jeffrey Scott and Dylan (Laura Hill) of Lumberton; and his nephew Danny Scott (Liberty) of Eden.
