It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlan Locklear (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Locklear and Thelma Locklear; and her siblings, Alton Locklear, Jimmy Locklear, Johnny Locklear, Billy Locklear, Vivian Oxendine, Marnice Hunt and Louise Maynor.
She is survived by: her husband Hosbie Locklear; her children, Carolyn Jacobs of Lumberton, Ronnie Locklear (Cathy) of Pembroke and Kathy Stocks of Lumberton; and her brother Bobby Locklear (Gail) of Lumberton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
