He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Eugene and Mary Ruth Brixey; his wife Virginia "Kay" Brixey; his brothers, Eugene, James and Tommy Brixey; and his granddaughter Jada McKenzie Brixey.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles (Katina Brixey) and William (Sophia Brixey); his grandchildren, Haley Brixey, Caison Brixey and Maggie Brixey; and his sister Wanda O'Neal.
