She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Young and Lessie Young; her husband Sandy Suggs; her children, Frank Suggs and Wanda Colvin; and her siblings, Lena Branch (Sam), Cleo Young, Clarence Young, Samuel Young, Linwood Young and Odell Young.
She is survived by: her children, Arletha Robinson, Lisa Suggs, Sandy Suggs Jr., John Roberts Suggs (Patricia), Michael Suggs (Felicia), Lee Suggs and Alongo Suggs of Shannon, NC; her brothers, Fletcher and Julian Young (Ernestine); her brother-in-law Samuel Branch of Lumberton, NC; and her nieces, Sharon Branch, Sheila Faulk, Anita Branch and Janet Branch. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
