It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Elmer Baxley of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Chester Elmer Baxley; and his brother Michael Edwards Baxley. He is survived by: his mother Shelby Edwards Baxley; his son Jasper Clayton Baxley (Kayla); his grandchildren, Emily, Addison, John and Arlo; his sisters, Lisa Adams (Bob) of Parkton, NC, Donna Lewis (Jerry) of Lumberton, NC and Kimberly Baxley of Lumberton, NC; and his close friend Rose Bethea. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
