She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Nance and Arthur Nance; her son Ricky Hickman of Lumberton, NC.; her husband John Hickman; and her sisters, Juanita Parnell and Anetha Blackwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Walker of Lumberton, NC.; her grandchildren, Brian Walker (Crystal), Kevin Walker (Lee Ann), Matthew Walker (Samantha), Adam Hickman of Winston Salem, NC and Holly Hickman of Wilmington, NC.; and her brothers, Bill Nance (Bea) of Lumberton, NC and Murphy Nance of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Southeastern Hospice House or to Hyde Park Baptist Church's Building Fund in Cletus Hickman's name.
